Culture is the voice, lens and strength of a community; whose might is always represented in the Children and Youth that holds the cord between the past, present and future generations. GUC Stands with Canada and Indigenous Communities on September 30, 2022 to mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process. Let’s Promise Ourselves and Children to never again take any steps that will deliberately kill our Culture!
Please Join the Celebration and Wear Orange Shirt in support of this memorable event.
