Ghana Union of Canada (GUC) is the voice of Canada's Ghanaian Community at the federal level. The organization represents Canada's Ghanaian Community before the people and government of Canada in spirit of partnership for the advancement of its member-unique needs. GUC a registered, non-partisan and non-profit organization established in August 2020 and inaugurated on Victoria Day, May 24, 2021.

With presence across Canada and governed by specific bylaws agreed to by its members, GUC represents the interest of Ghanaians and Canadians of Ghanaian heritage at the federal level on policy-oriented issues that impact them in areas such as Immigration, Settlement, and Integration into the Canadian socio-economic and political landscape.

The GUC delivers its programs through special interest groups (SIG) within its leadership structure. The SIG consists of GUC members with expertise in defined/specific area(s) that investigate...

Chapters

Chapters of the GUC operate at the local/civic level. They are all in collaboration with GUC that represents the communities at the federal level, however they are separate legal entities.

Core Pillars

GUC Core Pillars are Immigration, Settlement and Integration. These form the basis of our mandate which aims at supporting every Ghanaian Community group.
